The Woodland Collection Boho Owl Dress Up Doll, from My Sunshine Dolls, will delight doll lovers of all ages! The pattern includes a darling dress-up owl outfit that can easily be worn by other 23" My Sunshine Cloth dolls which is why we have it available to purchase in the two ways outlined below:  

• The full doll and outfit bundle for $8.99. The pattern document includes clear, step by step written directions and photos to make a 23" cloth doll and pinafore with a dress-up owl outfit. The pinafore dress has a back button closure as well as ruffled shoulder straps that attach at the back button. The outfit includes: a felt owl mask that ties in the back of the head, tulle and trim neck ruffle with back ribbon ties, and a dress with wings and decorative trim with a button closure in the back.

• The "dress-up owl" outfit only for $5.99. The pattern document includes clear, step by step written directions and photos to make a felt owl mask that ties in the back of the head, tulle and trim neck ruffle with back ribbon ties, and a dress with wings and decorative trim with a button closure in the back. (The cloth doll and pinafore are not included with this option).

This pattern is designed to fit 23" My Sunshine Dolls and can be used with the other cloth dolls in the My Sunshine catalog of patterns.

Recommended Fabrics: Cotton, embroidered mesh tulle, lace, felt

Supplies Needed:

Doll:

• 1 fat quarter in skin color
• 1 fat quarter for body
• 1 fat quarter for body/legs overlay
• 1 piece of felt for hair
• 1 scrap piece of felt for mouth
• 1 small piece of fabric for boots
• Yarn for hair
• Fabric marker
• Stuffing
• Thread
• Embroidery thread
• Sewing needle
• Doll needle (3 ½” to 4” long)

Pinafore Dress:

• ½ yd for dress
• Small piece of contrast for the sleeve ruffles and lining
• 1 ⅜” button

Dress Up Owl Outfit 

Mask:

• Heavyweight Pellon® for mask back
• 28” of cording or ribbon for ties
• Small piece of fabric for eye ruffles
• 9” of decorative trim for ears

Neck Ruffle:

• 2½” tall by 1½ yds wide of mesh tulle
• 9” of trim
• 22” of ribbon for ties

Owl Dress:

• 3 yds of decorative trim for dress and wings
• Fat quarter for dress
• 4 small buttons
