• Corten steel is a low maintenance and durable material.
• If required, clean the surface carefully with soap and water. Prevent scratches by using only soft sponges and brushes.
• Prevent exposure from harsh chemicals and pet urine
• Corten steel can cause staining, so do not place on unsealed concrete surfaces. Rinse the Corten steel planter box with water to wash off any excess rustic powder from the surface. 
• Place on elevated, well-draining surfaces. Avoid low-lying or puddle-prone areas where standing water can accelerate surface rust beyond the natural patina.
